Hertha BSC inspires its fans not only on the football field. Digitally, the German capital club also plays in the first league. In order to present the club's long history, information on the teams and the current season's highlights online, the blue-and-whites hired diva-e as their digital lead agency. With the conception, design, implementation and operation of a new website, the Transactional Experience Partner scored points with the traditional club. Since then, the online presence of the footballers from Berlin has sparkled with emotion and technical perfection. Above all, diva-e convinced the capital club with its extensive experience in all leading technologies. Fans and those who want to become fans meet at the "Olympiastadion", the home ground of the blue and white team. However, in order for Hertha supporters to also become permanent visitors on the website, the traditional club wanted an emotional design that reflected the club's image.
Together with diva-e, Hertha BSC is doing everything in its power to emotionalise fans on the digital field as well and make them want to return.
The focus of the project was on an emotional, modern design with moving images in all areas of the website. The scalability of the solution, which can map the large load differences between match days (high, punctual load) and normal operations (low, even load), presented a particular challenge.
Above all, the successful implementation was ensured by the tactical approach and the cooperation at eye level.
diva-e developed a new state-of-the-art website for Hertha BSC, which not only realised the vision of an emotional design, but is also perfectly positioned technically. The Hertha editorial team can maintain the new online presence comfortably and comprehensively. The new website is also future-proof, flexible and scalable due to the technology based on Headless Bloomreach and NuxtJS in Azure.
