Your apprenticeship

With us, you have the choice of apprenticeships in application development or system integration (Fachinformatiker/in Anwendungsentwicklung, Fachinformatiker/in Systemintegration), IT system sales (IT-Systemkaufmann/-frau), e-commerce sales (Kaufmann/-frau im E-Commerce) or office management (Kaufmann/-frau für Büromanagement). The apprenticeship
in detail

All apprenticeships last for 3 years, but can be shorter if you show outstanding performance.

The apprenticeship comprises of a theoretical and a practical part. Theoretical training and practical phases alternate. Training models vary depending on the course, vocational college and location, eg. block release (consecutive weeks at college then at work) or day release (some days per week at work and the rest at college).

Of course, the way the apprenticeship works depends to a large extent on the specialism you’ve chosen. Basically, however, training with us doesn’t consist of photocopying or making coffee (we have really great coffee machines in our kitchens). Instead, you’ll be involved in day-to-day business right from the very start and will be able to show your abilities and ideas through a variety of varied projects. Here, you will find a selection of projects that we have completed in the past for our clients large and small.

But when you start with us, you won’t be thrown in the deep end. Instead, you’ll receive extensive onboarding to get to know diva-e and your colleagues well. What’s more, you will have access to a specific main contact throughout your entire time with us.

There will be regular feedback talks, particularly at the start of your apprenticeship, so we can make sure everything is running to everyone’s satisfaction and you feel comfortable with us. What’s more, there will be further meetings to discuss your current level of training, your development and your satisfaction with the apprenticeship.

The responsibility we give to you during your apprenticeship depends on your capabilities and grows with your progress on the training course and your personal development.

Throughout the whole time, you’re a valued member of our organisation. It goes without saying that you’re also involved in team and corporate events and can take advantage of many other benefits, such as the wide range of further education opportunities, an attractive wage/salary, free fruit and drinks, and much more.

Exam time can often be stressful so we try to support you however we can and give you enough time to prepare for your exams.

As a broad-based company (UX & UI Design, Strategy Consulting, SEO/SEA/PPC, Digital Analytics & Content Marketing, Software Development – to name just a few areas), you also have the opportunity to gather experience in many related areas in order to see where you want to develop after your apprenticeship. Depending on the situation, you can even get to know other locations and gain valuable experience there.


Your prospects

Our aim is always to employ you after your apprenticeship. If performance and chemistry are right, then the chances are high you’ll be able to join us. After your training, we can offer you entry-level positions at many of our locations in a variety of roles. A secure job awaits you in a growing, dynamic sector!

You can always apply for the vacancies advertised. We are also happy to receive unsolicited applications. If we like your application, we’ll invite you to a face-to-face meeting. The selection process varies depending on the apprenticeship. Basically, as well as an interview, in which we can get to know each other, there are different selection processes, such as trial days (a great chance to get to know each other better), recruitment afternoons (a mini assessment centre) or candidate assignments (here, you will receive a specific assignment which you should then solve and present).
