In our 12-month SEO trainee program, you'll learn everything about search engine optimization in Google, Bing, etc. That means: You'll learn how websites land in the top positions in search engines for search queries - without having to place paid ads. Our SEO trainee program consists of theory and practice. During the course of the program, our experienced SEO experts teach you theoretical knowledge - which you can put into practice directly in our projects as an SEO trainee. Depending on your level of knowledge, you will take on your own tasks and be able to "look over the shoulder" of your colleagues as they work. In this way, you will learn in a very short time what exactly influences the ranking in search engines and how you can optimize the ranking results yourself. At the end of the trainee program, you will have the opportunity to acquire the BVDW certificate. We will prepare you for this for one year.
Our SEO trainee program consists of four components: professional training, personal development, project work and trainee support. As an SEO trainee, you receive a holistic education from us that optimally prepares you for your career in SEO.
Professional training: You will learn everything you need to know about search engine optimization as an SEO trainee with us. Our SEO trainee supervisors take care of the general theory of search engine optimization. There are bi-weekly sessions for this purpose. The curriculum is strongly based on the guidelines of the SEO trainee specialist certificate of the BVDW.
You will learn the practical expertise from your colleagues by working on customer projects: Your colleagues will assign you tasks and provide you with the necessary knowledge directly. They will be available to answer your questions and debrief you on the tasks.
In addition, we offer our SEO trainees a weekly question and answer session on all current SEO-related issues, independent of the curriculum. As an SEO trainee, you also have a training budget at your disposal, which you can use according to your own wishes to attend trade fairs, conferences and training courses, etc. In addition, you will receive free access to relevant trade magazines (such as Websiteboosting) and books.Personal development: In addition to professional, SEO-specific skills, we also want to support you in your professional personal development. At the end of the trainee program, our SEO trainees should have the necessary tools to lead clients or (internal) project teams. Therefore, there are regular feedback meetings with the team leader and the supervisors of the trainee program. Likewise, you will have the opportunity to participate in various soft skill trainings (such as communication trainings, conflict management) and project management trainings.
Projects: As an SEO trainee at diva-e, you will gain insight into our client projects right from the start. On your first two days, we will give you a general introduction to the company. From the third day onwards, you will be firmly integrated into the project team and support your colleagues with operational tasks.
Trainee support: Our SEO trainees are supported by a core team consisting of long-term SEO experts. You will have two permanent contact persons who will support you with words and deeds at any time during your trainee period: a permanent mentor = a colleague who has also completed the trainee program and is now working with us in a permanent position. A specialist trainer = a specialist contact person from your team.
Your tasks as SEO trainee at diva-e
As a trainee, you are a full-fledged team member from day one and will be involved in projects. At the same time, you'll be doing much more with us than just making up Excel charts and PowerPoint slides. You can actively contribute, learn a lot and absorb important know-how. For example, you will support us in the creation of keyword and content marketing strategies as part of a cross-channel, data-driven optimization approach. You will also be involved from day one in the development of comprehensive SEO concepts (on- and off-page) with keywordings and competitor analyses, as well as in customer contact.
You will get close insights into project management, continuous market observation (SEO trends) and competitor analyses. In addition, you will support the monitoring, development and implementation of recommendations to increase SEO project performance and organic rankings, and you will gain extensive insights into companies in different industries. You will experience the challenges our customers are facing and how we help them to find solutions and develop the projects further.
You will receive ongoing training in SEO and digital analytics in the form of in-house seminars and lectures. In addition, we offer you enough time to pursue your individual projects and interests.
In addition, we enable you to participate in a renowned SEO conference of your choice.
What you need for the SEO trainee program
You are a genuine team player. One for all, all for one - that is your and our motto.
You have studied computer science, economics, communication science or similar and are now looking for the ideal start.
You have a high affinity for online marketing and are very interested in search engine optimization.
First experiences are desirable, but not required. What is important to us is a good technical understanding, strong analytical thinking and the desire to learn new things.
You know how to use MS Office.
You are quick on the uptake, have the ability to recognize problems, find the right solution and enjoy working both in a team and independently. You are also convincing in direct communication with your empathetic nature. We expect you to have a very good command of German. But also your English can be seen and heard.
The aim of our trainee program is always to take you on afterwards. If performance and chemistry are right, then the chances of being taken on are very good. A secure job in a growing, dynamic industry awaits you!
But don't worry - we'll be there to help and advise you after the trainee program and try to make the transition to independent consultant as pleasant as possible. In our Young Pro SEO Academy, we also look after juniors: on a voluntary basis, you can repeat sessions and exchange ideas with us. In addition, an experienced consultant will accompany you as an SEO mentor until you feel confident and comfortable in your new role.
