New production infrastructure for dpa
The news market is subject to rapid change. The Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) is responding to this challenge by creating a new production infrastructure. It offers editorial offices a powerful tool to enable them to adapt their work even faster and more flexibly to changing customer requirements in the future. Another important goal is to continue to guarantee dpa's high quality of reliability and speed without any restrictions.
dpa decided to set up a completely new production infrastructure in order to keep pace with the changing conditions in the media industry and the rapid development of online media. After an extensive three-month evaluation and selection process, diva-e was awarded the contract to design and implement it. The successful MRS system of the Czech news agency CTK was used as the core and was adapted to dpa's needs over a project period of around two and a half years. The particular challenge of the project is the implementation during ongoing operations and the simultaneous integration of all existing databases.
