Bauerfeind AG, founded in 1929 and one of the leading manufacturers of medical devices, sought to expand its position as a pioneer in the digital market.
In order for this to take place, a new global and digital sales and marketing strategy had to be created. In the process, focus was placed on increasing reach, tapping new target groups, increasing customer loyalty and sustainable revenue growth.
Our diva-e consulting team supported Bauerfeind AG in preparing a business plan in order to establish a new, future-proof e-commerce solution and to digitise their own business processes. Bauerfeind AG was able to draw on diva-e’s many years of international experience when implementing the B2C business, thus implementing an international rollout strategy.
The challenge in implementing the new SAP Hybris shop came while updating complex configuration products with up to 16 selectable attributes and up to 20,000 possible variants. In this manner, target groups could be more directly addressed with the new, clear and well-structured design.
Other important elements included the creation of potential analyses and target group segmentation. We ensured that all communication activities along the customer journey are harmonised across all channels and measured by defined KPIs and reporting.
