Munich-based digital service provider supports expansion of global digital platforms

diva-e is working together with SMA Solar Technology AG, a leading global specialist for photovoltaic and storage system technology. The focus is on implementing a new online store solution for ordering SMA spare parts, accessories and software. In addition, a 360-degree portal is to be set up for a better customer experience.

"We provide our collective end-to-end expertise for SMA. The focus is on the customer experience," says diva-e CCO Sirko Schneppe. In addition to the development and setup of the technical infrastructure, he said, holistic consulting and the development of digital marketing strategies are part of the contract.

SMA is headquartered in Hesse, Germany, and operates worldwide with more than 3,500 employees in 20 countries. The technology group's portfolio includes, in particular, solar and battery inverters, holistic system solutions for photovoltaic plants and storage systems, intelligent energy management systems and charging solutions for electric vehicles.

The portal and store will be based on Adobe and Spryker. "We have had very good experience with this combination in the past, and we are already working intensively and successfully with these partners," Schneppe emphasizes.
