All under one roof
Innovative, digital, networked: The Karlsruhe team of diva-e is moving into the newly built iWerkx in Karlsruhe's Oststadt district, where numerous industrial digitalization companies will come together in the future. The lease for the office space in the so-called "House for Industry 4.0", which is specially tailored to the requirements of digital working, was signed by diva-e CEO Tilman Au with his Karlsruhe management team as well as Roger Löwe, CEO of the landlord Hoepfner Bräu, and Daniela Koch, authorized signatory.
Under roof: Tilman Au (l.), CEO of diva-e is looking forward to the move to the iWerkx and signs the lease for the new office in the Hoepfner area in Karlsruhe with Hopfner authorized signatory Daniela Koch and Roger Löwe, managing director of Hoepfner Bräu.
"On the second floor, on about 2,400 square meters, with balconies, loggia and a generous roof terrace, our exciting digital projects will be created in the future," says Tilman Au. "With the office space in the Hoepfner area, we are simultaneously renting a state-of-the-art digital infrastructure and becoming part of an innovation center where we can network and exchange ideas with other companies in the digital industry."
Networking with the other internationally active companies is an important asset, he said, and is also vital for attracting more employees. Currently, our 120 diva-e-colleg:in Karlsruhe are spread across two locations and are all expected to come together under the iWerkx umbrella from January 1, 2023, the planned move date.
With the move and the merging of the two locations, diva-e continues to invest in a modern progressive work environment in the post-Covid era and this year achieved 1st place in the competition of the best employers in Baden-Württemberg with the quality seal "Great place to work" with the Karlsruhe and Stuttgart locations. "Our employees think digitally, are creative, excellently trained and work with high motivation and personal responsibility. That is why we have created a completely new environment in which our talents can develop creatively and have fun," emphasizes Jochen Binder, Head of Backend Solutions at the Karlsruhe site, who drove and organized the move. "To this end, we have designed the 'Home of Talents' concept, which, among other things, places particular emphasis on employee satisfaction."
In addition to a modern working environment and extensive training opportunities, diva-e is particularly concerned about the compatibility of private and professional life. "Flexible working hours, family days, regular team and company events or health and sports activities ensure a varied and balanced working day for employees," says Binder. The move to the Hoepfner site is also advantageous in this respect: In addition to the rental apartments that will be built in the future, which are intended primarily for employees of the leasing companies, gastronomic offers and medical care as well as a nursing home, there is also the possibility of booking company kindergarten places in the local "Burgpiraten" daycare center. In addition, the Hoepfner site has several e-charging stations and Stadtmobil car-sharing stations.
