CMS concept development
Content management systems are complex platforms for high-performance websites.
Content management systems used to be simple platforms for the management of websites. Increasingly, they are becoming central control units that bring many elements of websites together – especially interactive applications, analysis tools, digital media and different output channels (including desktop, tablet and smartphone).
The more content management systems take on a vital role in website management, the more important it becomes to have a partner that fully understands all elements of a CMS and can skilfully apply this expertise. We advise our clients regarding the available options and how to integrate them in their structures. Our portfolio contains a broad spectrum of licensed and open source systems. The open source systems we mainly work with are TYPO3, Wordpress and Hippo (BloomReach). The licensed systems we rely on include Adobe Experience Management (AEM), FirstSpirit and OpenText Management Server.
Every CMS has advantages and disadvantages. That’s why we identify what is important to our clients and then determine the optimal solution. We have implemented CMS solutions for large clients, such as E.ON, Postbank, Augustinum or FC Bayern, enabling them to manage web projects with thousands of pages. Should special functionalities or interfaces be desired, we can expand the CMS system accordingly.
A well-chosen CMS will ease the technical burden on the editor and allow change requests to be implemented more flexibly and quickly, which helps save costs. Our CMS team creates the interface to all other diva-e work areas. We can either work using an agile approach, in traditional project structures or as the 3rd level support for existing maintenance projects. We follow market trends and actively shape developments hand-in-hand with our clients.
