In order to meet the constantly growing market requirements and to retain customers through even better services, STAUFF has commissioned diva-e for the replatforming project of its existing commerce components and the development of a user-friendly, open B2B digital platform.
For this purpose, Spryker was selected as a modern, scalable and future-proof architecture and technology base that enables good integration into the existing system landscape as well as the close integration of content and commerce.
STAUFF, the full-range supplier in the field of fluid and line components, offers its customers a range of over 50,000 standard components in ten different product groups as well as a large number of special and system solutions. The globally active family business with around 1,400 employees from the Sauerland region in North Rhine-Westphalia is one of the leading international suppliers in the industry. The company generated external sales of 256 million euros in 2019.
In order to provide business customers with optimal online access to its wide range of products and services, STAUFF decided to replatform its existing online store, which allows customers from Germany and the UK to order goods electronically.
The purpose of the replatforming project for the existing commerce components is to create a holistic and open B2B digital platform based on solutions from diva-e's technology partners Spryker and Bloomreach.
For the implementation of the relaunch, diva-e designed and developed the new STAUFF Digital platform with future-oriented B2B features that are perfectly in line with the digitalization strategy:
Based on the requirements of the platform users and their daily work tasks, the product catalog was structured with over 50,000 products. The optimized user journey of the customers enables them to navigate and find the desired products in the shortest possible time. Customers can also use the "Check price and availability" function to call up the individual customer price of their product, based on the quantity, in a matter of seconds. It is also possible to use the quick order function to upload orders consisting of the article number, quantity and desired delivery date in various file formats and order them directly. In addition, project lists can be maintained for periodically recurring orders.
A special feature for registered customers is the maintenance of customer-specific material numbers, which are stored in the customer's own merchandise management system. This enables seamless integration into the customer's own business processes. Another unique selling point of the portal is the conversion of competitor article numbers. This allows customers to find and order identical STAUFF products via competitor article numbers in the portal.
The new STAUFF Digital Platform offers customers a comprehensive, digital service experience and provides them with a flexible and individual shopping experience.
